Simon Cowell last night started to kick off promotion for The X Factor USA by appearing in the first advert for the programme. The 30 second ad, which aired in the middle of the Sates’ big Superbowl sporting competition, reportedly cost the music mogul £1.9 million to broadcast across the Fox network.
The ad didn’t feature any further details about the show, however it’s understood a big announcement about the possible judging line up will be made some when today.
The first ad was then followed by a second during the new episode of Glee:
He is desperate for pal Cheryl Cole to join him on American X Factor, but TV chiefs are not convinced the Geordie singer is a big enough name in the US.
