Shayne Ward & Kylie Minogue Live on the X Factor

Tonight’s X Factor Live results show saw the come back of two massive stars.

Then 5th installment of the X Factor results show saw the return of singing sensation kylie Minogue and 2005 X factor winner Shayne Ward.

We were in for a real treat with the Minogue double bill. kylie is no stranger to the show having paired up with her sister, X Factor Judge Dannii Minogue on a few occasions already.

Her first striking appearance came in 2008 when she stunned us all by turning up to do a duet with lucky X Factor contestant Leon Jackson. But she didn’t leave it long until she graced our screen once more, popping up at the exclusive Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, to help her younger sibling audition the girls for the final twelve.

So tonight’s show was welcoming her back for the third time. Over the past few days it has been hard for the star to conceal her excitement at appearing on the biggest entertainment show alongside Dannii. She reportedly tweeted Dannii: It’s Friday, which means it’s nearly the weekend, which means it’s nearly a Minogue X-Factor!!

The 42 year old took to the stage as her usual feisty self and gave an amazing performance of her new track ‘Better Than Today.’ This new singe is the third from her 2010 album Aphrodite.

The tune is great and is sure to dominate the music charts.

It’s been a long 3 year battle with getting his name back in lights after being dumped by the music industry, but Shayne Ward is back.

The now 26 year old singer, was chosen by millions to be the X Factor champion 2005. In the beginning his new music career boomed. His first two albums sold more than three million copies and with his fan base around the world was rapidly expanding.

But this glitz and glamour lifestyle was not to last. With Queen of X Factor Leona Lewis taking the crown just a year after him closely followed by Simon Cowells’ new entertainment show, Britains Got Talent with the unexpected vocals of Susan Boyle, Shayne’s career was pushed into the shadows and his name long forgotten.

Even X Factor judge Louis Walsh stopped managing him. Shayne appeared to have been expunged from X Factor history – he was never even mentioned on the show, until now…

Tonight was the launch of his new music Career. He took to the beaming lights of the famous X Factor stage to promote his new single ‘Gotta Be Somebody’ his lasts album Obsession.

Shayne’s single is out now to download and his new album is out next week.

Despite the added pressure of Westlife, Susan Boyle and Olly Murs all releasing their new albums in the same month, Shayne is still really optimistic about his future. Only time will tell if he is back for good…
