Playground Unsigned Announces Unsigned Competition

London creative company The Playground announces a competition with Recording, PR and Distribution prizes worth over £15,000

The Playground Unsigned will be hosted at Proud Galleries on the first Wednesday of the every month with bands / artists standing in line to win £15000.00 worth of Recording, PR and distribution prizes along with a slot at KOKO supporting major artists.

Top Prize

Second Place

If you believe you have what it takes you will need to set up a profile on the Playground community with a choice of your best track/s along with sending an e-mail to events@theplayground.co.uk saying “The Playground Unsigned” in the subject line.

Terms & Conditions
The judges will be looking first and foremost at musical ability, originality and performance capability. The act’s image must be one that’s distinctively individual and original, and they must retain an air of professionalism on and off stage. The judges will be seeking an act that has the potential to be successfully launched in the UK as a major recording artist.

Along with the live performance which will be held at Proud Galleries over a period of 8 months, we will be looking for artists who are consistently self promoting themselves on the Playground community. This will come in the form of promoting their music to all social media including myspace and facebook.

Live Performance
- They vote for that evening’s winner by a show of hands at the end of every concert.
- On the basis of the votes cast at the end of the evening, along with the number of people they have brought to the event, the bands position shall be classified from first to last place and winners will go through to final rounds.
