The X Factor 2010′s One Direction are to release a ‘tell all’ book about their experience on the programme, it has been revealed. The group, who are believed to have signed a record deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco record label, will release ‘Forever Young: Our Official X Factor Story’ next month.
The book, which will be published by HarperCollins and go on sale on February 17, will coincide with the start of The X Factor 2011 live tour. Natalie Jerome, publishing director for non-fiction at the publisher, commented: “One Direction are a brilliant group who stormed their way through the show, establishing an incredibly enthusiastic fan base along the way.
“We all witnessed that fan base develop rapidly in the latter stages of the ‘X Factor’ and this book will be perfect for anyone who wants to know more about the boys, how they came together as a band and their experiences of the show.”
HarperCollins also released a similar book by X Factor winner Matt Cardle, released just days after he won the show.
