One Direction aim to surprise with their debut album

The X Factor finalists will be releasing their debut album later this year and are working on developing their own sound.

It seems that the X Factor finalists are now in the studio to record their first album but are pretty much doing it on their own. They did say that they keep in touch with Simon Cowell, who championed the boys in the competition before they were booted out, and said, “Simon’s the kind of guy that just needs to check in to make sure everything is flowing right and everyone is working the hardest they can.”

Group member Harry Styles said that they have been doing some “experimenting” on the recordings and that they want to “surprise people” with their music.

Just think on boys, there was another boyband created by a TV talent show with “One” in their name and let’s just say they didn’t do too well. Might want to just please the fans you have rather than trying to surprise the ones who really couldn’t care less.
