X FACTOR contestants have been banned from having sex in the show’s £3.5million house under strict new rules. If they break the ban on “intimate physical relationships”, they may be booted out.
Other tough rules for finalists – who could live in the mansion for up to 12 weeks – say they are not allowed outside without an X Factor team member, the Sun of UK reported.
And they cannot even open the FRONT DOOR.
An insider said: “Contestants have been given a firm talking to about what they can and can’t do.
“They’re definitely not allowed to have sex or strike up relationships – although, with their packed schedule, they won’t have time to.
“Producers have reserved the right to disqualify anyone who disobeys.”
Last year there was chaos as housemates regularly went out to see fans and visit restaurants and shops, The Sun of UK reported.
Tuneless twins Jedward even mooned from a window.
This year’s crop of wannabes are banned from having overnight visitors, drinking if under-18, taking drugs or smoking anywhere except the garden.
They must keep their rooms tidy, even though they have a cleaner.
Girls are not allowed to wear high heels indoors – to prevent damage to the floors in the North London mansion.
The rules come despite X Factor boss Simon Cowell saying he wants contestants to be crazier and create more drama this year.
Simon joked: “I can’t tell people when and where they can and can’t have sex.
“Actually, I CAN probably tell them where they can’t.”
