Katie Waissel Receives Twitter Death Threats over X Factor Result

Katie Waissel has been receiving death threats on social networking site Twitter just an hour after she was kept in over Aiden Grimshaw on tonight’s X Factor results show.

The singer received more public votes than Aiden, 18 much to the anger of the studio audience and fans watching at home. Angry Aiden fans took to Twitter with some users wishing Katie dead.

One user wrote: ‘KATIE WAISSEL DIE!!!! and two others tweeted: “Who is voting? Katie Waissel needs to die” and “Who’s coming on a murder hunt with me? Target: Katie Waissel). DIE *** DIE”.
