Goldie Quits the X Factor

She made us smile, she terrified Gary and she proved you’re never too old to have incredible legs, so it’s with great sadness that we OFFICIALLY reveal Goldie has left the competition.

Having finally worked out that she’s this year’s Jedward, “kookie” Goldie Cheung has decided to quit X Factor.

The Thai Chi instructor – who wrapped her leg around Gary Barlow during her first audition – has become the first ever contestant to quit the show after getting through to the live stage of the programme.

The official line is that she’s quit for “personal reasons” however sources close to the erm, singer have told the Mail on Sunday that she decided to do it because she feared she would be turned into a national laughing stock.

Oooh, Goldie love we hate to point this out to you but – too late.
