Glastonbury to Offer Unsigned Bands Main Stage Slot

Glastonbury 2011 has announced a competition offering emerging bands from across the UK and Ireland the chance to perform on the Main Stage at the festival this year.

The festival has recruited the ears of 40 of the UK’s best blogs who will choose 120 bands from all entries. Glastonbury organisers Michael and Emily Eavis will then select a shortlist of 10 bands to perform at a live final in April to decide on the victorious act. Undoubtedly thousands of bands will enter this, so at the very least, you can use the link below to discover 40 of the UK’s top bloggers, perhaps get a review out of it!
