Jedward will keep trying for a No 1

February 8, 2010

Jedward have refused to give up on going to number one with their debut single, after it failed to top the British chart.

The Grimes twins were a new entry at number two yesterday, narrowly missing out on overhauling Owl City’s ‘Fireflies’.

However, the ‘X Factor’ twins have insisted “don’t write us off”, with ‘Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)’ still to hit stores across the country.

“The physical copies of the single don’t go on sale until February 15 and there will be lots of people wanting one.

“They kept Timbaland’s new single at number three and did well to fend him off. It’s far too early to be writing them off yet,” insisted a Jedward insider.
