Backstreet Boys Ready To Rock India

backstreet-boys-inconsolableBackstreet Boys, one of the most popular boy bands during the 90s, has seven studio albums to date and has sold over 130 million records worldwide.

With hits like Show Me the Meaning, Shape of My Heart, they will be crooning as the headlining band at the festival, which kicks off in the the Capital on February 20 at NSIC and in Bengaluru on February 22 at Palace Grounds. The group presently consists of Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, A J McLean and Howie Dorough after Kevin Richardson quit the band in 2006. The music festival, which has hosted rock bands like Megadeth, Iron Maiden and Machine Head in the past has shifted the tone of music this time, focussing on a wider range of fans, from mainstream to classic rock.

The event, which was held in Bengaluru in 2008 and 2009, will also let Delhi play host this time around. “Being committed to live music in the country, we have kept up our promise. Due to long-standing requests from fans for mainstream and classic rock, we have adapted this lineup for the Red Rock In India edition 3,” says T Venkat Vardhan of DNA Networks, the organisers.
