Jackson’s kids to make Grammy speeches during dad’s tribute

January 31, 2010

jacksonkidsMichael-Jackson’s kids are planning to pay tribute to their late father when the King Of Pop is posthumously honoured at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.

The ceremony’s organisers announced earlier this year that a spectacular star-studded 3D performance will be laid on to recognise the achievements of the Thriller great, who died last June.

The 3D clip which will be used is part of the Earth Song performance Jackson planned on showcasing during his doomed residency at London’s 02 Arena, and superstars including Usher, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Smokey Robinson will all perform alongside the footage.

Jackson’s two eldest children, Paris, Prince Michael, are planning on gracing the stage at the event to “read some sort of speech” about their father, according to E! Online.

Celebrity website TMZ.com, adds that Jackson’s dad Joe has confirmed the kids have been working on their speeches for a week, and both are accomplished public speakers.

The 52nd annual Grammy Awards will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 31 January
