This weekend’s X Factor final looks set to be the most star-studded yet as details of the guest performers start to emerge.
According to the Daily Mail, the three remaining contestants are set to duet with pop superstars: Olly Murs with Robbie Williams, Joe McElderry with George Michael and Stacey Solomon with Michael Buble.
Not only that, but former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney is reportedly expected to make a solo performance during the show.
If the rumours of Robbie’s appearance are true, it will be the second time he has performed on the current series, following his controversial British TV comeback in October.
The singer’s performance of his single Bodies on the first live show was slated by critics who said he appeared wide-eyed and nervous during the song.
An X Factor source told the paper: “Everyone has a lot of love for Robbie and it would be a fantastic conclusion to the series if he came back and did an immense performance.
“I have a feeling it would also lay some of his demons to rest.”
Last year, X Factor winner Alexandra Burke sang with Beyonce, sparking claims that duetting with the US superstar helped her win the competition. Many also put Leon Jackson’s success on the 2007 series down to the fact that he sang with Kylie Minogue
What do you think about this year’s predicted line-up? Could it favour any of the contestants? And who do you wish to win this year’s X Factor?
