Aiden Grimshaw Voted off X Factor

Aiden Grimshaw became the ninth act to leave The X Factor on Sunday night after the judges voted evenly to take the result to deadlock. The public decided to get rid of the 18-year-old from Blackpool ahead of Katie Waissel who survived her fourth sing off.

The results show on ITV1 showcased the new single from former X Factor contestants JLS. Westlife also took to the stage and millions watched the anticipated return of Take That with all five members reunited.
